Abstract

 This research aims to analyze the problems of implementing the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) in State Middle Schools and Private Middle Schools in one district in East Java.. P5 is an educational initiative that aims to shape students' attitudes and characters in accordance with the values of Pancasila. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of principals, teachers and students involved in P5 activities. The results showed that although P5 has been implemented, there are several problems faced, such as uneven student participation, limited capacity of teaching staff, lack of socialization, and financing issues. This research is expected to provide insights and recommendations for schools in improving the implementation of P5 to be more effective and have a positive impact on student character development.
