House Sales Promotion Application Using Android-Based Augmented Reality Technology

Augmented Reality (AR) technology integrates 3D objects into real-world environments via a camera, enhancing interactivity and visualization on mobile Android devices. This research addresses challenges in house marketing, where brochures only display 2D exteriors, limiting information on room details. Additionally, prospective buyers living far from housing areas cannot view interiors directly. To solve this, an AR-based application is developed to visualize exterior and interior house designs in 3D, providing a realistic, interactive experience without requiring physical visits. Using a camera to detect flat object markers, the application displays realistic 3D objects upon pressing "start" and removes them with "stop." The application received positive feedback, achieving a 94.5% Likert scale score, and is expected to help marketing teams promote residential properties more effectively to prospective buyers.
