Abstract

The server room is a crucial asset that must be secured as it contains data and hardware supporting the operations of an institution or company. In addition to security, environmental conditions such as room temperature are essential to ensure optimal server performance. This study aims to design a security and door control system, as well as server room monitoring, based on IoT. The system features door access using RFID and an Android application named SIKOMORU (Sistem Kontrol dan Monitoring Ruangan). The system development was carried out using Arduino IDE and Android Studio with Kotlin programming language, as well as IoT integration through Firebase as the data storage platform. The hardware used includes the ESP32 microcontroller, DS18B20 temperature sensor, MFRC522 RFID reader, Reed Switch, and relay to control solenoid door lock. This application enables users to automatically unlock doors via an Android device and monitor motherboard and room temperatures in real-time.
