Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of computer self-efficacy and computer anxiety on accounting students' understanding of gender as an intervening variable. The population of this study were accounting students at the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. The research method used a quantitative method and the sample used a simple random sampling method and the results obtained were 370 respondents. Data analysis techniques were carried out using SmartPLS software version 3.2.9. The results of this research found that Computer Self Efficacy did not influence students' understanding of gender as an intervening variable, Computer Anxiety did not influence students' understanding of gender as an intervening variable. Computer Self-efficacy, Computer Anxiety for each student is different, not depending on gender and depending on the perception of each student, which means that each gender has the ability to use computers.
