Abstract

Efficient inventory management is crucial for the smooth operation of a company. PT Pos Indonesia, as a company with an extensive network across Indonesia, faces challenges in inventory management due to manual processes. This research aims to develop a web-based inventory information system for the Sidoarjo Post Office to improve efficiency and accuracy in managing inventory data. The system is designed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method to minimize development time. Key features offered include the management of incoming, outgoing, and transferred items, as well as reports accessible by various user levels. With the implementation of this system, the process of recording and monitoring inventory becomes faster and more accurate, reducing errors commonly found in manual systems. The system's functionality was tested using the black-box method, demonstrating that it operates as intended and improves the effectiveness of office inventory management.
