Character education is very influential in creating the character of an individual or student. Early age is a very critical age for building a person's character. Instilling in the younger generation the meaning of being a good citizen, namely that they show pride and love for their homeland. Cultivating the character of love for the country through national songs is considered to be one of the appropriate media to foster a sense of love for the country. Simple song lyrics are easily understood by children so that the meaning of national song lyrics can be conveyed to students, can give rise to a high sense of love for the country, national spirit, and form nationalistic character. The focus of this research is how to educate the character of love for the homeland through national songs at SDN Wunut II Porong.
