Abstract

The cultivation of discipline in children aged 3-4 years is very important for their social-emotional development and for the formation of children's character in behaving well according to social rules and norms. This study aims to find out the strategy in instilling discipline in children aged 3-4 years in KB Permata Sunnah Sidoarjo.The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques are by interviews, observations, and documentation. The focus of the stages is to unite the data and draw conclusions. The results of the research obtained the strategy used is planting by example, communication, and reinforcement. This study analyzes the influence of a combination of teacher exemplary strategies, effective communication, and positive reinforcement in instilling discipline in early childhood. The results of the study show that the simultaneous use of the three strategies can significantly increase the level of children's discipline.
