Abstract

This study intends to report the influence of  using flash card learning media on students' critical reading skills learning outcomes on the topic of extracting information from reading texts. Held on March 20 2023, this research was carried out at SDN Sawocangkring, Sidoarjo Regency. Quantitative methodology  Data analysis strategies are used to evaluate hypotheses by utilizing descriptive statistics. This type of pre-experimental research uses a one-group pretest-posttest design, or experiments carried out in one group without using a control or comparison group. The pretest and posttest results were compared, as the researcher knew. The average pretest score was 55 and the average posttest score was 74.105. The research hypothesis states that there is an influence of the use of flash card image media on the reading ability of Indonesian language learning participants at SDN Sawocangkring Sidoarjo, this is supported by the difference in the average pretest and posttest scores
