The development of technology makes communication not only face-to-face, but with modern tools, such as social media. One of the widely used platforms is Instagram, this platform as a medium for sharing photos and information, @pintarpolitk is an Instagram account that actively shares content or information about politics and actively presents viral information related to political developments. This research aims to evaluate gen z communication ethics on sarcastic language style in commenting. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques and interviews related to the assessment of argumentation on sarcastic comments left by gen z in the comments column, the conclusion is that many gen z use sarcastic sentences that are encountered in the comments column, sarcastic language style or dark humour that they give to the tegar gajar decalarasi poster so the opposition on the @pintarpolitik Instagram account is contrary to the ethics of politeness in communication.
