Abstract

With the increasing number of livestock in Indonesia, efforts are still being made to meet the needs of animal feed, especially ruminants. However, there are still many challenges in providing nutrient-dense feed, including feed source materials, shapes, and agribusiness systems. Forage resources, or agricultural waste such as straw, are abundant during the rainy season or harvest. In fact, Indonesia is estimated to produce 65.5 million tons of straw waste every year. Straw has a relatively low nutritional content when used as a feed ingredient, but it can be processed and combined with other feed ingredients to create a highly nutritious mealThe purpose of this exercise is to develop a straw pressing machine that can handle complex financial transactions effectively. Raw materials can be processed using pressing, allowing products to be produced in smooth and even blocks.
