The Role of Financial Technology and Financial Literacy with Digital Literacy as a Moderating Variable on Students' Financial Management Behavior

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine whether the use of financial technology and financial literacy affect the financial management behavior of students with digital literacy as a moderating variable. This type of research uses quantitative method research. In this study, the population used was all accounting students of the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo class of 2020 and a sample of 114 students was obtained. The data in this study used primary data collected through a questionnaire survey. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence between financial technology and financial literacy on students' financial management behavior. Meanwhile, the digital literacy variable is able to moderate or strengthen the influence of financial technology on students' financial management behavior. The digital literacy variable is unable to moderate or weaken the influence of financial literacy on students' financial management behavior.
