Libraries play an important role in expanding students' knowledge and insights, generally provided with a neatly arranged space, where books are arranged by category of fields of knowledge. SDN Ganggang Panjang is committed to facilitating students in improving their knowledge, and the school library is one of the important initiatives of the school. However, currently, recording borrowing and returning books is still done manually, which makes it difficult to monitor borrowing and returning data and interferes with officers in supervising books available to students. To deal with this, the researcher took the initiative to design and build a web-based library information system at SDN Ganggang Panjang. The Waterfall method is used in system development, which is developed with the PHP programming language and a desktop base. The system provides modules for managing members, books, book borrowing and returns, as well as library reports.
