Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Religius Siswa Melalui Pembiasaan Islam di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo

This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection is form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The participants in this study were principals, teachers and students. Data validity uses a type of triangulation technique, then the data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the research show that strengthening religious character at Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo Elementary School has a positive influence on student character. This can be seen from the active participation of students in carrying out activities and school programs related to Religious PPK. The supporting factors include the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure, active participation of students and teachers, religious activities, and support from parents. The inhibiting factor is the attitude of being less obedient or involved in other activities that interfere with the concentration of religious activities.
