DC motors are a type of electric motor that has many uses for humans. Nowadays, the various uses of DC motors have made a lot of progress. Starting from the sector of use and control. The author focuses this research on advances of IoT-based DC motor control, via voice commands an smartphone. The sound form input signal is converted into a digital signal and is entered into microcontroller to produce an output signal for DC motor. This tool allows you to easily control DC motors just by saying voice commands on your smartphone. The distance traveled also quite far. The Node ESP8266 MCU can reach signals up to 4 kilometers. The devices used include Google Assistant, Adafruit io platform with IFTTT support, hardware such as Node MCU + ESP8266, DC motor drivers, and the DC motor Apart from that, software in this research is Arduino IDE.
