Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of Jawapos Event Organizer in managing the 77th Anniversary Event of the East Java Provincial Government 2022 using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The study follows Joe Goldblatt's five stages of event management: Research for initial observation, Design for creating an engaging concept and theme, Planning for strategies such as the Volkswagen & Vespa contest, Coordinating for liaising with sponsors, vendors, and relevant institutions, and Evaluation for assessing public feedback via social media after the event. The evaluation seeks to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the event for future improvements in event management.
