This study aims to determine marital satisfaction in couples who have children with Thalesemia. The subjects of this study were three married couples who have children with Thalesemia. Collecting data using observation and interview methods. The results of this study indicate that the factors of marital satisfaction consist of the strength of commitment, patterns of interaction,age of marriage,flexibility of economic difficulties,religion,emotional support and differences in expectations. The three couples are committed to caring for the child, but some are constrained due to lack of interaction due to work and economic difficulties. While aspects of marital satisfaction consist of communication,flexibility, closeness, personality compatibility and conflict resolution. The three couples have a sense of disappointment in having a child with Thalesemia, they want a normal child who can grow up. But they are still grateful for God's gift by having children and will strive to care for children as much as possible.
