Narcotics abuse in Sidoarjo is a serious problem that requires effective handling from the police. This research analyzes the role of the Sidoarjo Police in handling narcotics crimes and identifies the challenges faced. Using qualitative methods, data was collected through in-depth interviews with Police officers and analysis of legal documents. The results show that the Sidoarjo Police have implemented various strategic steps such as outreach, legal action, and cross-sectoral cooperation. However, challenges such as limited resources and the complexity of the narcotics distribution network still exist. This research recommends increasing educational programs for the community, especially vulnerable age groups, increasing budgets and resources to support the operations of the Drug Research Unit, as well as strengthening cross-sectoral collaboration. It is hoped that the implementation of these recommendations can increase the effectiveness of narcotics handling in Sidoarjo and have a positive impact on society.
