This research aims to describe and analyze the empowerment of community groups in realizing food security, with a case study in Jambangan Village, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency. Using a qualitative descriptive method, informants were selected purposively, involving the Chair and Secretary of POKMAS, as well as the Village Head and Secretary. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using Mil and Huberman’s concept: data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results show that effective authority distribution fosters positive synergy. Confidence and competence have increased through government-facilitated training, enhancing self-confidence and skills. Trust among POKMAS members is strong, although reporting and administration need improvement. Members are given opportunities to express ideas and coordinate activities. Responsibility is evident in the competent execution of planned programs. Continuous support from the Village Government and community ensures the resilience program runs as expected.
