Education in Indonesia faces complex challenges related to concepts, regulations, budgets, and implementation. A crucial issue is the students, who, in the digital era, encounter numerous obstacles, leading to graduates who struggle to compete globally. This study explores the role of Islamic education in shaping students' characters in the digital age. Through a literature review of relevant research and articles, the study finds that Islamic education is pivotal in character development. It not only imparts religious values but also addresses ethics and morality in technology use. The findings suggest that Islamic education can instill moral values, promote digital ethics, and enhance spiritual awareness regarding technology. Implications include integrating ethical and moral aspects into the curriculum, training teachers to teach digital ethics, and collaborating with parents to shape responsible student behavior. Understanding these aspects is vital for educators to foster students' integrity and responsible technology use in a connected, digital world.
