Abstract

Many problems can cause stress for counseling teachers. These include problems at work, problems related to peer pressure, family problems, health problems, financial problems, and others. When teachers experience stress, it needs to be controlled early so that the impact is not prolonged. To prevent psychological deviations, stress must be managed and controlled through stress management. This study aims to determine stress coping management in high school guidance and counseling (BK) teachers in Sidoarjo Regency. shows that relaxation techniques, time management, and social support significantly reduce stress levels and improve performance. However, some challenges remain, such as the mismatch of techniques with individual needs and high workloads. Continuous adjustments and improvements in stress coping programs are needed to ensure optimal benefits for each counseling teacher. The results of this study provide important insights for the development of more effective stress management strategies in the future.
