Social media is also very useful in gaining fame, and income in an era like this until the live streaming feature appears. In live streaming, the host talent plays an important role and many commit privacy violations, namely in the form of recording the person without permission and intending to demonize the person. Violation of privacy is unethical because every person or individual has the right to privacy. This research uses normative analysis methods such as examining legislation, jurisprudence, related literature such as titles, and papers related to this material. According to Article 26 of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions requires that the use of any personal data in an electronic media must obtain the consent of the owner of the data concerned. Therefore, anyone who violates this provision can be sued for the losses caused.
