Development of Learning Tools Based on Merdeka Curriculum to Train Learners' Critical and Creative Thinking Skills

Education in the era of revolution 4.0 is a challenge and a necessity that schools in Indonesia must do to prepare for 21st century skills. The independent curriculum has various lessons to train 21st century skills. The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility and analyze the effectiveness of learning tools based on the independent curriculum to train students' critical and creative thinking skills. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) development research with the 4-D model which consists of four stages, namely Define, Desighn, Develop, and Disseminate. Data collection techniques consisted of questionnaires, observation and documentation. The research subjects were 5th grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tulangan, totaling 40 students. It can be concluded that the independent curriculum-based learning tools are feasible (Valid, and Effective) to train students' critical and creative thinking skills.
