Abstract

Ma’had Umar bin Al Khattab Sidoarjo is a higher education institution focused on Arabic Language and Islamic Studies, established by the Asia Muslim Charity Foundation and later integrated with the Faculty of Islamic Studies at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. This research examines the integration of Ma'had into FAI UMSIDA, focusing on three main aspects: Human Resources, Curriculum, and Student Affairs. The integration model used is semi-integration, allowing Ma'had to maintain some autonomy while aligning with FAI's system. Post-integration management emphasizes Human Resources, Curriculum, and Student Affairs management. HR management includes recruitment and placement of lecturers and staff, while curriculum management involves aligning Ma'had's curriculum with FAI's and conducting periodic evaluations. Student integration covers registration processes and the development of inclusive student activities. Utilizing a qualitative method with field research, the study analyzes data through observation, interviews, and document reviews, providing insights for other educational institutions undergoing similar integration processes.
