Automated Portal Security Prototype Using Facial Recognition System

This research discusses the development of a prototype automatic portal security system using an ESP32-CAM based facial recognition system. The aim of this research is to explore the use of facial recognition technology to improve security and efficiency in access control systems in various environments. The ESP32-CAM functions as the main camera and processor, capturing facial images, and processing them using image processing libraries. Face detection algorithms identify facial features in images and match them with data stored in a database. The MCU32 node controls the servo motor that opens the portal when a face is recognized. The system is powered by a 5V USB power bank to activate the ESP32 module via face detection signal.
