Abstract

Buying and selling transactions through E-Commerce have experienced rapid development, especially in Indonesia. E-Commerce facilitates transactions between businesses and consumers online, offering convenience in shopping without having to meet in person. The rise of disputes in e-commerce has been an important issue both before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Before COVID-19, the rapid growth of e-commerce was driven by increased internet access and adoption of digital technology, resulting in an increase in online transactions. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the shift to online shopping due to social restrictions and the closure of physical stores. While E-Commerce offers benefits such as easy access and a wide selection of goods, consumers also face risks such as fraud and product discrepancies. This leads to various disputes, including issues related to delivery of goods, product quality that does not match the description, fraud, and invasion of privacy
