This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the One day Boarding program in forming and strengthening the Islamic character of Muhammadiyah Middle School and MTS students in Sidoarjo district. Education is the most important thing in the progress of a nation and is one of the main factors in creating a valuable and civilized life in society. "One Day Boarding" is a program designed to strengthen students' character based on the values of the Al-Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. Research data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis process includes several stages, including data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. General conclusions are obtained from specific facts that have been collected. The research results show that the one day barding program is quite effective in growing and strengthening the Islamic character of Muhammadiyah Middle School and MTS students
