Abstract

The reason for doing this study was the pupils' poor writing abilities. A hypothesis was developed to determine whether or not PowToon use significantly affects students' writing abilities. Pre-experimental research is the classification given to this quantitative investigation. In this investigation, simple random sampling was the sample method employed. A total of twenty-five seventh graders were chosen to be the research sample. Powtoon was used as a teaching medium with the students. At a significance level of 0.05, the paired sample t-test findings revealed that the generated value (5,910) for 24 degrees of freedom was greater than the t-table (2,796). The alternative hypothesis was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected. This indicates that seventh-grade junior high school students' writing skills are significantly impacted by using PowToon. The study demonstrated how PowToon may help kids' writing abilities.
