The purpose of this study is to find out the picture of self-control in the purchase of K-Pop merch owned by 2 K-Pop fans with early adulthood who live in Sidoarjo, the method used in this study is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, using unstructured interviews that are open and very flexible. The analysis technique uses thematic analysis techniques in the form of coding, the method used to test the validity of the data in this study uses data triangulation and also observational observations. The results of this study show an overview of aggressive behavior, fanaticism, hedonism, exceeding the budget limit set by oneself, long time memory as an influence on purchases, flexing, and social support. However, behind this behavior, there is still a process of self-control carried out by the subject such as limiting purchases, buying pre-orders to save, hiding the device used to buy merchandise.Downloads
