Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the strengthening of the Pancasila student profile through global diversity character in extracurricular karawitan activities in elementary schools. Researchers used a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The subjects in this study were the principal, fifth grade teacher, and extracurricular teacher at SDN Glagaharum. Data collection used interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data analysis methods used were data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study found that extracurricular karawitan activities in strengthening the character of global diversity in students through three activities, namely recognizing and appreciating culture, communication and interaction between cultures, reflection and responsibility for the experience of diversity.
