Learning media in the form of pictures is one of the tools that teachers can use to facilitate learning activities. This study was to determine how much visual media is used in facilitating the teaching and learning of Islamic Religious Education. This kind of research is qualitative research, i.e. The data in this study are observed in a form of narratives rather than figures and existing phenomena. In quantitative research, the data collection techniques are obtained through observation, interviews, and documentary analysis. The techniques for data analysis in this study include data collection, data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions. After the data were collected, analysis of these data was made using inductive and interpretive techniques for analyzing qualitative information.
