Bell's palsy is a lower motor neuron (LMN)-type facial paralysis that occurs due to an acute inflammatory process of the facial nerve in the temporal bone region, leading to an increase in the diameter of the facial nerve and compression of the nerve through the temporal bone. The purpose of the study is to determine the increase in muscle strength and facial function. with a "case trouble" method in a 21-year-old female patient with a diagnosis of Bell's palsy grade V. In this study, to measure the results of increasing muscle strength using Manual Muscle Testing, while to measure facial function used, House Brackman and Ugo Fish Scale. This case study shows the results that the administration of Mirror Exercise and Facial Massage can be proven to be effective in increasing muscle strength and improving facial functional ability in Bell's Palsy patients, by doing exercises for 4 weeks 8 meetings.
