Studying the Al-Quran and Al-Hadith is obligatory for every Muslim to ensure correct worship practices based on authentic propositions. This requires adherence to established scientific disciplines, yet the depth of understanding needed often poses a challenge for laypeople, necessitating guidance from qualified teachers. This research aims to elucidate the contributions of the sorogan and manqul methods in learning Al-Quran and Al-Hadith. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis involving teachers and students at Islamic boarding schools. Thematic analysis of the collected data revealed patterns and themes, highlighting the effectiveness and contributions of these methods in facilitating comprehensive religious education. The study underscores the importance of structured learning approaches in mastering the intricacies of Al-Quran and Al-Hadith, thus supporting informed worship practices.
