Strengthening Culture-Based Religious Character Education in Public Elementary Schools in the Maritime Region
Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Religius Berbasis Budaya Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kawasan Maritim

. Religious character in order to be formed can be done through habituation that is attached and accompanied by a sense of love for children that makes moral values can be conveyed and applied by children who have an impact on their character in life. School culture is an understanding and hope for education personnel to realize religious character in students. The location of this research is in public elementary schools in the maritime area of Dukuhsari village. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, test sheets and documentation were used to collect data. The results showed that there is a school culture that has been implemented regularly as a form of strengthening the religious character of students which includes praying before and after learning and praying dhuha and dhuhur prayers in congregation.
