Disney Movies: Does It Increase Listening Skill Students’ at Junior High School?

English is a language that is widely used for global communication in several countries in the world. This study was conducted to find out whether the use of Disney movies can effectively help students improve their listening skills. This study used a Pre-experimental design approach with participants of seventh grade students at SMPN Tanggulangin. Participants consisted of 32 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were obtained from the results of students' pretest and posttest during the study. The results showed that there was a great impact in building understanding by watching Luca movies disney as a media in the learning process. From the data analysis, sig (2-tailed) was obtained with a result of 0.000 < α (0.05), which means H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. In addition, the application of Disney Movie makes students more relaxed and enjoy the learning process.
