Implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) Policy in Watesnegoro Village, Ngoro District, Mojokerto Regency

Abstract

The Family Hope Program (PKH) aims to address poverty and build a social protection system for the poor, enhancing access to education, health, and social welfare. This research analyzes PKH implementation in Watesnegoro Village, using qualitative descriptive methods, including interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data sources include primary data from observations and interviews, and secondary data from government documents and journals. The study, conducted in Watesnegoro Village, Ngoro District, Mojokerto Regency, used purposive sampling to select informants, including social protection officials, PKH coordinators, facilitators, and beneficiary families. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman interactive model: data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research found that PKH implementation in Watesnegoro is effective but noted misallocation of aid funds intended for education being used for personal needs, contrary to program goals.
