Abstract

Generally, the way to improve the performance of a motorbike engine is to modify the engine, namely bore up. Bore up means increasing the piston size from the standard one. This method is usually used by modifiers who may want to experiment with the machine with the aim of getting better performance.: comparing a large 66mm piston with a standard 51mm one, then using a standard 19mm carburetor and using a large 28mm carburetor. This test was carried out using a tool called a dynotest, results in this experiment. From testing using a 66mm piston with a standard 51mm carburetor, it produces 15.83 HP of power at an engine speed of 8,500 rpm. So to modify the cylinder volume or bore up you also have to pay attention to the use of the carburetor. The use of this carburetor must also be adjusted
