This research aims to examine how the public understands and responds to law enforcement regarding criminal acts involving police officers who do not provide services. Apart from that, this research also analyzes procedures in police reporting regarding public services to the community. The research method used is an empirical legal approach, with data collection through direct observation and in-depth interviews with related parties. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to improving the police system and increasing public understanding of the law enforcement process in it.
