Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Spinning Wheel learning media on maharah kalam of female students at Aisiyah Boarding School Malang Middle School. In this research, researchers used quantitative methods with a pre-experimental approach and a one group pretest-posttest design. The research population consisted of 27 class VIII. The results of the t-test research using SPSS version 19. The results of the t-test research show that the significance is 0.000 <0.05. From the calculation results, it is known that the average score for students' maharah kalam during the pretest was 64.26, while the average score during the posttest was 79.86. Therefore, the use of the Spinning Wheel media is effective in increasing maharah kalam, especially in aspects such as pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency and courage. It is hoped that these results can make a significant contribution to the development of effective learning media to improve students' Arabic understanding.
