This study aims to optimize school finances based on the pesantren model at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Palang, with the goal of improving the efficiency of school fund management and supporting quality educational processes. This approach includes descriptive analysis with data collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results indicate that financial optimization can be achieved through more comprehensive budget planning, transparency in expenditure reporting, and increased active participation from all stakeholders, including teachers, students, and parents. Additionally, the implementation of information technology in financial management has proven effective in monitoring and controlling cash flow, thereby enhancing accountability and efficiency. With better financial management, it is expected that the school can not only improve the quality of education but also the welfare of teachers and students.
