Peranan Efikasi Diri dan Dukungan Sosial Terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Pada Siswa SMK YPM 8 Sidoarjo

This study aims to examine whether role of self-efficacy and social support on work readiness in students of SMK YPM 8 Sidoarjo, where this study used a quantitative method with sample of 242 students from SMK YPM 8 Sidoarjo, by taking samples using convenience sample method. Research instrument uses psychological scale with Likert scale model, each scale is adoption of previously developed scale. Self-efficacy scale is adoption of Prahyani (2017) with Cronbach Alpha reliability value of 0.808. Next scale of social support which adoption of Amalia with Cronbach Alpha reliability value of 0.773. Last is work readiness scale adopted from Kurnia (2018) with Cronbach Alpha reliability value of 0.841. Analysis of study used multiple linear regression methods where results stated that two variables had an effect on work readiness, with a contribution value of 7,96% for self-efficacy and 5,73% for social support, together two variables influenced work readiness. by 13,7%.
