Abstract

. The HIRARC method is a method used for a process of assessing risks and categorizing the level of danger that occurs in the workplace, while FTA is a technique for identifying each stage of the production process that can cause a risk of danger. The dangers that often occur are cuts on the hands, injuries to the hands during production activities and exposure to sparks during the smoking process. The cause of potential danger is due to the lack of rules for using PPE and workers not being careful during the fish smoking process. Risk control is carried out, namely requiring workers to wear gloves and boots during the fumigation process. The results of this research are able to reduce the risk of danger arising from work accidents.
