Abstract

R-KVC are family entertainment cafes and music venues that use chillers as air conditioning machines. Room temperature that is not reached results in decreased productivity in the form of decreased number of uncomfortable visitors. This study aims to measure the effectiveness and productivity of chiller machines. The methods used are Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Failure mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). The results obtained are that the chiller machine on R-KVC is not effective and productive with an OEE value of chiller machine 1 79.03% and chiller machine 2 80.64% caused by problems from high condenser pressure. The failure mode with the highest RPN value of 107 is the overhaul compressor temperature.
