Abstract

A museum is a place to explore and understand the history of a loca-tion, country, or nation. Formerly, the Museum De Javasche Bank served as the headquarters of De Javasche Bank before becoming a branch of Bank Indonesia. Faced with declining interest, particularly among students, various efforts have been made to enhance it through technology. The aim is to support the government's efforts to make museums tourist and educational destinations. An engaging approach is needed to introduce the Museum De Javasche Bank, considering not everyone is familiar with it. One example of technology used is Virtual Reality (VR), allowing interaction with computer-simulated environ-ments. Utilizing 3D applications on Android smartphones, researchers have created an Android-based VR application providing engaging and effective informational experiences for Museum De Javasche Bank visitors.
