The increasing number of inmates in Bangil Prison has led to difficulties in managing and processing their paperwork. To address this issue, an application has been developed to digitize the paper-based records of inmates. The application is web-based, using PHP programming language and MySQL database, and features an SMS gateway for families to check on the status of their incarcerated loved ones. The application was developed by observing the paper book system in the prison, conducting interviews with administration officers, and creating a program plan. The application has proven to be user-friendly and eye-catching, and has helped the warden easily monitor the real-time condition of the prison. The SMS gateway has also been effective for communication between inmates' families and the prison staff.
