With the rise of electric transportation as a sustainable alternative, the need for efficient charging infrastructure becomes paramount. Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) play a pivotal role in facilitating long-distance travel and curbing greenhouse gas emissions. To enhance accessibility and availability for electric vehicle users, this study proposes an innovative coin-based SPKLU system integrating solar energy. By harnessing solar power, the station not only reduces its environmental footprint but also cuts down on operational expenses. Economic feasibility was also evaluated, rendering it an attractive option for stakeholders, including
authorities, businesses, and communities invested in promoting electric vehicle adoption. The findings reveal that a mere Rp 7000 coin suffices to fully charge a 20Ah battery, underscoring the affordability and efficacy of the proposed system.
