Abstract

The development of technology has contributed greatly to the growth of gaming as a popular form of entertainment. Games are developed in various types, one of which is an advanture game, where the player acts as a character in the game environment. In this research, the author is interested in making an adventure genre game with a Top-Down perspective, entitled "ASKARA". This research aims to build a game as a medium of entertainment that can be played through a computer with a Windows operating system. In developing this game, the author uses Unity Engine software.  The final result of this research is a 2D adventure game that is ready to be played which can also be used as entertainment. It is hoped that the creation of this game will provide a new discourse about games and increase the author's knowledge about making a game.
