Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of providing POC (coffee grounds) concentration and fertilization interval as an alternative to enhance the productivity of Batavia lettuce while reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers. The research was conducted in the fields of Muhammadiyah University Sidoarjo, using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two main factors: POC concentration (150 ml/L, 200 ml/L, 250 ml/L, and 300 ml/L) and fertilization interval (3, 6, and 9 days). The results indicate that there was no significant interaction between P and K. The concentration of coffee grounds fertilizer influenced plant growth, with the optimal concentration at 200 ml/L. Additionally, the fertilization interval also had an impact, with a 6-day interval yielding the best results. Although variations in fertilizer application did not significantly affect harvest index, a high harvest index indicates better economic value for the crops
