Abstract

A family is a social unit comprised of individuals connected by blood, marriage, or other relationships. A family tree is a record that illus-trates these relationships across generations. This research designed a Family Tree application using PHP programming language and using Laravel Framework with Rapid Application Development (RAD) meth-od and testing through Black Box Testing and UAT testing.. The Test-ing using black box testing stated that this system runs well according to its functionality, and in testing the UAT system as many as 30 re-spondents who have participated resulted in a score of 79.25%. From the results of research utilizing the use of the Laravel Framework produced a website-based family tree information system for users to make it easier to visualize lineage and on the website has provided various features to assist individuals in managing or creating complete data structures of their family members.
