The Correlation between Self Confidence and Work Readiness in XII Grade Students of Vocational High School Antartika Sidoarjo

This study examined the relationship between self-confidence and job readiness among twelfth-grade students at Antartika Sidoarjo Vocational High School. The population consisted of 120 students, with a sample of 92 determined using Krejcie and Morgan's table. Stratified random sampling was used to select participants. Research instruments included Likert scales adapted from previous studies, validated for reliability. Data analysis employed Pearson product-moment correlation using JASP software. Results showed a significant positive correlation between self-confidence and job readiness (r=0.542, sig<0.001), indicating that higher self-confidence is associated with greater job readiness among students.
