Gender diversity on corporate boards has gained significant attention in the global arena due to uneven implementation across companies. Using bibliometric analysis from 2012 to 2022, this study identifies thematic clusters, publication patterns, and research activity levels. The results showed that clusters such as corporate governance, agency theory, and women on boards of directors emerged, which revealed interconnections between topics. Visualization through VOSviewer revealed complex relationships among authors, keywords, and publications. This research underscores the important role of shaping theory and policy related to gender diversity on boards within a sustainable corporate governance framework, especially in increasing women's representation in decision-making processes. By highlighting these dynamics, this research makes a substantial contribution to advancing understanding and encouraging inclusive practices in corporate leadership.
